About

My name is Jeanette Stull

I’m a Creative Director who believes great work happens at the intersection of big ideas, smart systems, and even smarter people.

Over the past decade (plus a few bonus years of hard-earned wisdom), I’ve grown from designer to Creative Director at Newell Brands, leading global teams, shaping brand stories, and building the operational backbone that actually makes creativity scalable. I’ve had the opportunity to work across iconic brands like Sharpie, Crock-Pot, Yankee Candle, and Rubbermaid, translating vision into work that shows up everywhere, from packaging to campaigns to content ecosystems.

My superpower? I don’t just come up with ideas. I build the environments where great ideas can happen consistently.

I’m a bit of a rare mix, part strategic thinker, part relationship builder, and part process nerd (the good kind). With a tri-modal thinking style, structural, social, and conceptual, I can zoom out to see the big picture, zoom in to make the details work, and bring people along for the ride. Only about 5% of people operate this way, which probably explains why I care just as much about the workflow as I do the final creative.

I lead with clarity, empathy, and a healthy dose of realism. Creative teams don’t just need direction, they need support, trust, and occasionally someone who can play therapist, problem-solver, and air traffic controller all at once. I’m comfortable being calm in the chaos and finding a path forward when Plan A inevitably goes sideways, because it always does.

I’m also deeply passionate about building systems that support creativity instead of slowing it down. From scaling global studio operations to implementing AI-supported workflows and unified processes, I love turning complexity into something that feels seamless, or at least significantly less painful.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in one of three modes:

  1. Playing pickleball like I might go pro (I won’t, but I’ll still talk about it)

  2. On a boat, because everything is better on a boat

  3. Hunting for something, antiques, designer shoes, or a Target find that looks way more expensive than it is

I’m also a mom of three grown kids, which means I’ve basically been a project manager for decades. Add in two Australian Shepherds, Winston and Bailee, and there’s always a team to lead, even on weekend trail walks.

Lately, I’ve been deep into crafting, specifically making old-school fabric photo albums. An Etsy shop may or may not be in my future, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

At the end of the day, I care about building meaningful work, strong teams, and environments where people feel empowered to do their best thinking. If we can have a little fun along the way, even better.
